The normal honey assortment is: acacia, chestnut, eucalyptus, mixed flower, orange blossom and thyme honey. Produced in Italy. Since production is limited, if a type of honey is not available, it is replaced with another available one. The jars have the following dimensions: 43mm diameter; height 50mm.
Satureja montana honey (commonly Thyme)
Savory honey (also known as "thyme honey" in Abruzzo) is obtained from Satureja montana, a small inconspicuous plant of the same family as the thyme but with a more intense aroma. Production depends a lot on the rains at the end of July: if the season is dry, it is no wonder that the product is completely out of stock already at the end of autumn. Savory honey has a light amber color with green reflections; persistent, pleasant and characteristic smell and taste; very fine crystallization with a soft consistency and unmistakable aroma of pollen. When crystallized, it has a full taste, with a deliciously bitter finish and light notes of coffee.
One package / display contains 200 sachets of 6 grams. Honey is usually a medium-dark wildflower, sometimes from the woods. The origin is absolutely Italian. Since the productions are limited, when one type of honey is missing it is replaced by another available.
