Metal corner joint for hive to connect the brood nest and the super. It is advisable to use 3 joints for each hive, two in the front and one in the back of the hive brood nest. The fourth corner (free) is used to allow the insertion of the hive tool when it is necessary to raise the crown board (or the super). A tool-rest joint may be inserted in the fourth corner to prevent the hive tool from damaging the wood.
Hive, 12 frames, with removable open mesh floor (the floor is screwed on, unlike the floor shown in the picture), brood chamber, super, brood frames and super frames, crown board, sheet metal lid and accessories. The travelling screen in the picture IS NOT INCLUDED.
Dadand Blatt single-comb glass observation hive for nest and one for super-hive. It is equipped with an upper unpainted handle. It is particularly suitable for learning purposes.
Drawn and galvanised steel grille queen excluder 43x50 (for 10-comb hives). The queen is prevented from reaching the super-hive and lay eggs. This allows keeping the super-hive combs clean and makes them less attractive for the wax moth, which is attracted by the smell of brood.
Excellent galvanizing and finishing. The sticks are not welded, but inserted and very tight in a steel strip.
Perforated metal sheet for anti-varroa mite base. It allows varroa mites to fall down during the treatment. Unlike the net, metal sheet is more comfortable for the bees, which can walk on it and do not cover it with propolis.
