The 6-comb beehive is made of high-density expanded polystyrene, suitable for food use. The measurements are standard for 6-comb hives, on the Dadant-Blatt model. The bottom is equipped with a large anti-varroa net (305 x 200 mm); under this mesh there is a removable diagnostic drawer made of easily cleanable alveolar polypropylene. The lid fits perfectly, equipped with a circular pre-cut to allow the possible use of a Baravalle feeder. The hive is supplied complete with cover, cap and bulkhead for the diagnostic drawer.
