In order to trap the varroa mites during treatments, the drawer should be greased with Vaseline grease using an oil-paper sheet to make it easier to remove it. Varroa mites fall down from the frames, through the grid and are stuck in the Vaseline grease. Once the treatment is completed, it is possible to check how many varroa mites have fallen down and have a clearer idea of the level of infestation. The drawer can also be used for migration. It allows aerating the family during transportation. Drawers are available in different sizes. It is advisable to specify any special size on the order.
