Direct attachment to the comb.
The integrated pins on the back of the cage allow for quick and secure attachment to the brood comb, without the need for any additional accessories (sticks, rubber bands, or other) and without damaging the comb by creating "grooves" in the wax. The attachment is secure and there is no risk of the cage falling.
Quick uncaging.
Thanks to the flexible cap-band that—after caging—remains visible above the combs, when uncaging, the position of the cage is immediately identifiable, without having to move any combs to find it. Furthermore, this special cap also allows the cage to be opened "from above," without having to move any combs. This unique feature of the mini me.ga. cage ensures that the queen can be uncaged immediately and in any weather conditions without disturbing the colony. Given the shape and size of the cage, the queen, once the cap is removed, is able to exit the cage on her own without the need for further intervention by the beekeeper.
