Swarm Attractant Wipe (10 sachets)

The wipes are impregnated with plant-derived essential oils, and the blend used is the result of many years of research. The attractants have been selected to attract passing swarms or those leaving the hives, thus preventing them from abandoning the apiary. Directions for use: Tear the bag slightly or make a hole in it so you can hang it in a convenient location (such as a tree), but preferably inside a decoy hive. You can place several decoy hives in the apiary, up to 50 meters from the hives. Once the bag is opened, the attractant wipe is effective for about 10 days, depending on environmental conditions (the warmer the substance dissipates more quickly). The optimal height for placing the bag is between 1.8 and 2 meters above the ground. When using it in a decoy hive, it is best to hang it on an old, empty brood cloth. The ideal orientation of the decoy hive is with the flight opening facing south.
