Melissa cooperative society was a beneficiary in 2025 of a public contribution of €12,000 in relation to the project "Digitalisation for the sustainable development of local beekeeping", an initiative aimed at opening innovative channels to expand the company’s markets and to enhance the area’s productive and human resources through the activation of a new online sales channel on the ManoMano and Amazon.it marketplaces.
The objective is to develop a multichannel strategy for the marketing of both the technical equipment produced internally—such as beehives, honey supers and all wooden accessories used in beekeeping—and bee products such as honey, pollen, royal jelly, wax, etc., supplied by local beekeepers. In addition, the objective is to create a local network of aware and well-prepared producers, able to actively contribute to collective growth and to educate the public on sustainable beekeeping practices.
This notice is issued in compliance with Articles 46-5 of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 on visibility, transparency and communication.
